“How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Thy word. With all my heart I have sought Thee; Do not let me wander from Thy commandments. Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee.” (Psalm 119:9-11)
Yesterday we gave an example of scriptures that we could put in a table for easy review, and we showed possible ways that we can highlight the text so that the main points of the verses will jump out at us and make it easier to review and remember. Today, I want to continue in this vein of thinking, but I want to offer additional verses that we should have in our table that don’t necessarily pertain to sin or don’t pertain to sins of immorality per se. But nonetheless, these scriptures are powerful motivators in our attempts to overcome temptations of fleshly indulgence. I will continue to put these in table format to give you ideas on how you can highlight certain points that stand out to you.

There are many other verses that we could list here. The important thing is that you find verses that are meaningful to you, verses that are good reminders to you to keep the Lord always in view and to turn away from all evil. We will list some additional verse options tomorrow, but please be thinking about which verses are most convicting to you, most effective in turning you from sin to righteousness.
